Where Our Crew Moves

Fast Affordable College Student Movers is based on Freret Street, but our trucks cover the whole Greater New Orleans metro on a normal week — not just the blocks around campus. Marcus builds routes around Tulane, Loyola, and UNO move-in traffic, so a job in one suburb rarely slows down a job in another.

Our five primary service areas each have their own crew familiarity, from Metairie’s apartment complexes to Chalmette’s tighter residential streets:

• Metairie — heavy apartment-turnover traffic, especially around lease-end dates in May and August.
• Kenner — a regular stop for crews running loads near the airport corridor.
• Gretna — West Bank moves that our dispatch plans around the bridge traffic patterns.
• Harahan — smaller residential streets where our crews know which driveways are tight.
• Chalmette — St. Bernard Parish households and the occasional Katie-led apartment job.

We also send trucks out to Westwego, Terrytown, Marrero, Slidell, Covington, Mandeville, River Ridge, and Belle Chasse fairly often — if your address isn’t listed above, ask for a quote anyway and Desiree will tell you straight whether it’s in our normal range.
